The PMTS Transition
I am near the turn finish my hips and torso are counteracting. The inside leg is more tipped and shorter than the outside leg. I am beginning to lift the outside leg and release the edge from the snow.

The release is achieved now, and my knees are more evenly bent,. I reduced the leg length by bending the stance leg, This also brought the skis flat to the surface.

I have completely transferred my balance to the new outside ski. Which leg is now more bent and shortened?
Leg shortening and tipping have increased. Notice the skis have barely changed direction. The process of transition should be done before the skis head downhill. The lifted or free foot is pulled back and still held parallel.
